A Little Bit of NAWBO History

NAWBO is the only dues-based national organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs in all types of businesses. The organization has 60 chapters internationally.

The Central Arkansas Chapter was founded in 1986 with 20 members. Since it?s inception, the membership has grown to 100 business women in our state. The Central Arkansas Chapter was awarded the prestigious NAWBO Healthy Chapter Award for 1997.

Our Mission

As an organization with a "customer first philosophy", we:

STRENGTHEN the wealth-creating capacity of our members and promote economic development
CREATE innovative and effective changes in the business culture
BUILD strategic alliances, coalitions and affiliations
